Higher temperature resistance

This filament sensor parts set replaces the HT-PLA set of the Bondtech “Prusa MK3S” and “Prusa MK3S with Mosquito” upgrade kits with SLS 3D printed parts in PA12. It can be used in an ambient temperature up to 100°C.
 

 

Included in this product:

  • 1x SLS Filament Sensor Cover (not compatible with Caribou x-carrige)
  • 1x SLS Filament Sensor Lever
  • 1x SLS Filament Sensor Steel Ball Holder


3D Printed In PA12

The 3D printed parts of this kit are printed using SLS technology with White PA12, sandblasted and dyed in Black.

Working Temperature Limits

Bear in mind the working temperature limit of this product does not extend to the Upgrade Kit itself. If you use this X-Carriage Kit and any Bondtech Upgrade Kit for Prusa inside a closed chamber, it will have the following set of working temperature limits:

  • Due to the sensor plastic parts made of HT PLA > up to 60°C (90-100°C when parts are annealed);
  • Due to the stepper motor > up to 80°C.
  • The PA12 parts themselves can withstand up to 100°C.Note:If you print inside an enclosed chamber use the SLS version to allow heating the air inside above 60°C.


 
Please note: he cover is note compatible with the Caribou x-carriage
